Body Mesotherapy

Body mesotherapy is a method widely used in local slimming. The purpose of this method is to reduce the fat cells by injecting small doses of medication to the problematic area. The injected under the skin solution improves circulation and lymphatic system recovery, accelerating intracellular fat metabolism. Thus, the number of fat cells in the subcutaneous fat tissue decreases and liberated circulatory fatty acids are discarded from the body.

What is mesotherapy?

Mesotherapy is a method which is based on injection of the specially prepared for treatment medicine to a depth from 1 to 6 cm under the skin. It was firstly used by French Doctor Michel Pistor in 1952.

Number of sessions

Although it changes according to person and treatment type, success is achieved on average after 8-10 sessions

Session Duration and Session Intervals

Body mesotherapy session lasts 15 to 30 minutes depending on the size of the treated area. On average, 1 session every 5 to 10 days is applied depending on a person. After it protection session is applied once a month and patient is tracked. Mesotherapy can be repeated once in 8-12 months.

Post Treatment Warnings

Resting after the treatment is not required. Patient can continue with his/her daily life. Sunbathing and solarium should be avoided during mesotherapy. After healing of bruising and soreness of the skin there are no contraindications to sunbathing.
